By accessing or using Ship It Forge ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, sellers, and buyers.
Ship It Forge is a platform where independent developers can list, share, and sell software tools, extensions, apps, and templates; participate in community discussions; live stream their work; send and receive virtual gifts; and tip or follow makers they admire.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. You may not create accounts for the purpose of abuse, spam, or impersonation.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Ship It Forge — including tool listings, posts, comments, and profile information ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Ship It Forge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.
When participating in communities, you agree not to post content that is: hateful, harassing, or threatening toward any individual or group; sexually explicit or pornographic; spam or advertising unrelated to the community topic; or designed to deceive or mislead other members. Ship It Forge reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines, at our sole discretion.
Sellers retain full ownership of their tools. By listing a tool, you grant Ship It Forge a license to display and promote it on the platform. Sellers receive 85% of each sale; Ship It Forge retains a 15% platform fee. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings, for delivering what is described, and for providing reasonable support to buyers. Sellers must connect a Stripe account to receive payouts.
Purchases are processed by Stripe. Digital goods are non-returnable once accessed unless a seller-specific refund policy states otherwise. For Pro subscriptions, refunds are available within a reasonable period — contact [email protected] or use the refund option in Settings. Ship It Forge does not guarantee that any tool will meet your specific requirements.
Ship It Forge offers an optional Pro subscription ("Pro") at $5.00 per month, billed by Stripe. Pro unlocks premium features including a support link on your tool pages, Bluesky auto-posting, and a Pro badge. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings — your access continues until the end of the billing period. You may request a refund of your most recent payment from Settings; refunds typically appear within 2–5 business days. Ship It Forge reserves the right to modify Pro pricing or features with advance notice to subscribers.
Ship It Forge includes a live streaming feature that allows Pro members to broadcast to other users in real time. Viewers may send virtual gifts during a live stream using Coins purchased through the platform. Streamers earn Diamonds in return, which can be converted to real money via a connected Stripe account. Ship It Forge is not responsible for technical interruptions, stream quality, or failure to deliver gifts due to connectivity issues. Live streams are subject to the Community Guidelines above — hateful, explicit, or harmful content is prohibited and may result in immediate termination of the stream and account suspension.
Ship It Forge operates a virtual currency system. Coins are purchased by viewers using real money and used to send gifts during live streams. Coins are non-refundable and have no cash value. Diamonds are earned by streamers when they receive gifts; Diamonds can be converted to real money by streamers who have connected a verified Stripe account, subject to a minimum payout threshold (currently $10.00). The conversion rate, platform fee, and minimum payout threshold are subject to change with reasonable notice. Ship It Forge is not liable for Diamonds that cannot be paid out due to an incomplete or rejected Stripe account setup.
Users may send one-time tips to tool creators via Stripe Checkout. Tips are voluntary and non-refundable. For creators with a connected Stripe account, tips are transferred directly — Ship It Forge takes no cut of tips. For creators without a connected Stripe account, tips are held by Ship It Forge for up to 30 days. If the creator does not connect their Stripe account within 30 days, the held tip is forfeited and retained by Ship It Forge. Ship It Forge is not responsible for uncollected tips if a creator fails to connect their account within this window.
You may not use the Service to: list or distribute malware, spyware, or harmful code; infringe any third-party intellectual property rights; scrape or harvest user data without permission; attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems; or engage in any activity that disrupts or degrades the Service for others.
Ship It Forge respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] with: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the allegedly infringing content and its location on the Service; (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorised; and (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf. We will respond to valid notices promptly.
Ship It Forge may from time to time offer limited-time promotions, including free or discounted Pro access for new users. Promotional offers are limited to eligible accounts, non-transferable, and subject to the conditions stated at the time of the offer. Ship It Forge reserves the right to modify or end any promotion at any time.
Ship It Forge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Content you posted in communities may remain visible at our discretion.
We may update these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or via an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ship It Forge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
